Adding Store Locations
Every delivery and pickup operation in Scrollengine starts with a location. A location represents a physical store, warehouse, or fulfillment center from which orders are dispatched or picked up.
Creating a new location
- Navigate to Settings > Locations
- Click Add Location
- Fill in the location details:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Location Name | A recognizable name (e.g., "Downtown Store", "Main Warehouse") |
| Address | Full street address — autocomplete will help you find it |
| Phone | Contact number for this location |
| Notification email for this location |
- Review the pin placement on the map — drag it if the geocoded position is slightly off
- Click Save
Associating a location with delivery profiles
After creating a location, link it to a General Profile:
- Go to the location settings
- Under Profile, select or create a profile
- The profile defines which delivery methods, time slots, and rules apply to this location
This is especially useful for multi-location setups where each store might have different delivery zones or operating hours.
Editing a location
- Go to Settings > Locations
- Click on the location you want to modify
- Update the relevant fields
- Click Save
Deleting a location
precaución
Deleting a location removes it from all associated profiles and routes. Active orders assigned to this location will not be affected, but no new orders can be routed there.
- Go to Settings > Locations
- Click the location to edit
- Scroll down and click Delete Location
- Confirm the deletion
Best practices
- Name locations clearly — Use names your team will recognize at a glance (e.g., "Queens Warehouse" rather than "Location 2")
- Verify map pins — An inaccurate pin leads to incorrect radius-based delivery zones and driver routing
- One location per physical address — Avoid duplicates, which can cause order assignment confusion
