General​

What Shopify plans does Scrollengine support?​

Scrollengine works with all Shopify plans β€” Basic, Shopify, Advanced, and Plus.

Is there a free trial?​

Yes. Scrollengine offers a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. Install from the Shopify App Store to get started.

Does Scrollengine work with Shopify POS?​

Scrollengine focuses on online delivery and pickup orders. POS orders can be managed if they're synced as standard Shopify orders.

Setup​

How long does it take to set up Scrollengine?​

Basic setup takes 5–10 minutes. Follow the Quick Start Guide to get operational fast. Advanced configuration (delivery zones, time slots, driver management) can be done incrementally.

Do I need a Google Maps API key?​

A Google Maps API key is recommended for route mapping, geocoding, and driver navigation. See Google Maps API Setup. The app functions without it, but map-related features will be limited.

Can I use Scrollengine with a custom Shopify theme?​

Yes. Scrollengine uses Shopify's app block system and is compatible with most themes. If your theme doesn't support app blocks, manual installation is available.

Delivery​

Can I offer same-day delivery?​

Yes. Configure same-day delivery by setting an appropriate preparation time and time slots. For example, with a 2-hour prep time, orders placed before 10 AM can be delivered in the 12 PM–3 PM slot.

Can I set different delivery fees for different areas?​

Yes. Create multiple delivery rules (by zip code, radius, or map zone) with different fee structures for each.

What happens if a customer's address is outside my delivery zone?​

They'll see only pickup and/or shipping options (if those methods are enabled). Local delivery will not appear.

Orders​

Can I move an order from delivery to pickup?​

Yes. See Moving Orders Between Types.

How are delivery details shown in Shopify?​

Scrollengine adds delivery method, date, time slot, and status as order tags in Shopify. See Order Tags on Shopify.

Drivers​

Do drivers need a separate app?​

Yes. Drivers use the Scrollengine Driver App (available on iOS and Android). They receive route assignments, navigation, and can capture proof of delivery.

Can drivers pick which orders to deliver?​

Yes, if you use the Driver Marketplace feature. Otherwise, orders are assigned to drivers by dispatchers.

Billing​

How does billing work?​

Scrollengine is billed through the Shopify App Store. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice.

Can I change plans?​

Yes. Plan changes can be made from the Scrollengine settings or the Shopify App Store listing.
