WhatsApp Integration

Send delivery notifications to customers via WhatsApp for higher engagement rates compared to email.

Overview

WhatsApp messages have significantly higher open rates than email. Scrollengine's WhatsApp integration lets you notify customers about:

  • Order confirmation
  • Order ready for delivery/pickup
  • Out for delivery with tracking link
  • Delivery completed
  • Delivery rescheduled

Setup

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > WhatsApp
  2. Connect your WhatsApp Business API account
  3. Configure message templates for each notification event
  4. Enable the events you want to send via WhatsApp

Message templates

WhatsApp Business API requires pre-approved message templates. Scrollengine provides default templates you can customize:

  • Keep messages concise
  • Include the tracking page link
  • Personalize with customer name and order number

When to use WhatsApp vs. email

Requirements

  • A WhatsApp Business API account
