Email Notifications
Scrollengine can send automated email notifications to customers and team members at key moments in the delivery lifecycle.
Enabling email notifications
- Go to Settings > Notifications
- Toggle Email Notifications to enabled
- Configure which events trigger emails
Notification events
Customer notifications
| Event | Description |
|---|---|
| Order confirmed | Sent when a delivery/pickup order is placed |
| Order ready | Sent when the order is packed and ready |
| Out for delivery | Sent when the driver starts the route |
| Delivered | Sent with proof of delivery (if captured) |
| Ready for pickup | Sent when the pickup order is ready for collection |
| Delivery rescheduled | Sent if the delivery date or time changes |
Team notifications

| New order | Alert when a new delivery order comes in |
| Route assigned | Confirmation when a route is created and assigned |
| Delivery failed | Alert when a delivery attempt fails |
| Driver app invite | Sent when a new driver is invited |
Email provider integration
Scrollengine supports integration with email delivery services for reliable sending:
- SendGrid — See Email Providers Integration
- Mailgun — See Email Providers Integration
- Default — Scrollengine's built-in email sender
Using a third-party provider improves deliverability and gives you sending analytics.
Customizing email content
Basic email customization is available:
- From name — Your store name
- Reply-to address — Where customer replies go
- Include tracking link — Automatically embed the tracking page URL
For advanced email template customization, use your email provider's template editor in combination with Scrollengine's webhook events.
