Zip Code / Postal Code Rules

Zip code rules let you define your delivery area by listing the postal codes you serve. This is the most straightforward way to control delivery coverage.

Creating a zip code ruleโ€‹

  1. Go to Delivery Rules in the dashboard
  2. Click Add Rule
  3. Select Zip Code / Postal Code as the rule type
  4. Enter the zip codes you want to serve

Adding zip codesโ€‹

You can add zip codes in several ways:

  • Individual entry โ€” Type each zip code one at a time
  • Bulk entry โ€” Paste a comma-separated list of zip codes
  • Range โ€” Enter a range (e.g., 10001โ€“10099) to cover a block of sequential codes

Tipsโ€‹

  • Validate your zip codes โ€” Ensure every zip code you list actually exists in your target area
  • Group logically โ€” Create separate rules for zones with different pricing rather than one rule with every zip code
  • Test with real addresses โ€” After setup, enter customer addresses in the widget to confirm the correct zone and fee apply
